The Cirneco can hunt by sight and by scent and its instincts must not be lost if we are to preserve the breed. Hunt trials are carried out exclusively on wild game and true to their breeding and genetic disposition these photographs demonstrate why the Cirneco dell'Etna is classified as a primitive hunting dog, whose specialization is hunting wild rabbit. Very few of us have had the opportunity to see the skill of a trained Cirneco in action. 	CdECA Calendar 2006 The Cirneco Dell'Etna Club of America is pleased to announce its first ever Cirneco Photo Calendar for 2006. Malee Earle, parent of Fatima & Fendi, has graciously provided us with her talents in producing the first ever Cirneco photo calendar for 2006. CdECA will be offering these calendars for sale to benefit such CdECA activities as rescue.
